From the Midwest to the Mountains: A Dental Adventure
Ever wonder how a kid from Rockford, Illinois ends up crafting perfect smiles in the shadow of the Cascade Mountains? That’s Dr. Amundson’s story – a 30-year journey filled with cutting-edge technology, countless happy patients, and yes, some pretty amazing spicy recipes along the way! Back in 1995, Dr. Amundson graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine with honors. In 1999, Dr. Amundson opened his first practice in the Denver area. The Colorado chapter got even better in Montrose, where Dr. Amundson didn’t just grow a thriving multi-doctor practice – he became the go-to mentor for other dentists through CEREC Doctors and the Frank Spear Faculty Club.
Bend: The Perfect Plot Twist
Now here’s where the story gets exciting. Dr. Amundson has chosen beautiful Bend, Oregon as his new home base, ready to continue Dr. Wold’s incredible legacy while bringing three decades of expertise to Central Oregon families. It’s like getting the best of both worlds – seasoned experience with fresh enthusiasm! The transition of the practice occurred in May 2025 and Dr. Amundson looks forward to continuing the best care for Dr Wold’s patients and team after his retirement of providing excellent dentistry in Bend Oregon for 30 years.

Teresa is the welcoming face you will see when you enter our office! She has worked in the dental field since 2014 and graduated from Dental Assisting school in California. She has extensive experience working with insurance companies and filing claims, so if you have any questions she has an answer for you! Teresa enjoys being active and snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor. She is the mother of three kids and a dental front office superstar! She enjoys working with patients and providing excellent customer service.
